Echo (echo...echo....) - 07/18/2010 1:15 PMIf any of you are still here then you are awesome. Let me break down what's been happening recently. As stated before, Dan did not have internet connectivity and still does not. He is working on that but did manage to get me a handful of pages in the meantime. They're not done yet, but we will be relaunching once he has a connection and we can rebuild the buffer of pages again. Soon, my friends. Very soon. In personal news I got married on the 10th of this month and we close on our house on the 26th. Things have been hectic for me with wedding prep and now taking packing into overdrive for the move. I'm also starting up my own business and another side project which I will talk about at length later when the comic relaunches and I have a little more time to breathe. My heartfelt thanks go out to anyone that's stuck with us through this long, long hiatus, despite me not wanting to call it that previously. The world of online comics can be a many fickle thing. I broke the site. - 03/30/2010 7:02 PMOops. If you tried loading the main page only to see a long string of errors that I caused, I apologize for that. The one time I decide not to actively check my update because I think, "Hey, what unspeakable horrors could possibly happen? I'm just updating one sentence." Clearly that is not the case but hey, at least the whole site didn't explode into a fiery ball of pain. My previous entry that kersploded everything was nothing more than a promise of explanation as to the radio silence for the last 2 weeks. So here is that explanation: Dan, the artist for the comic, and his family have recently moved and are in the process of getting settled into a new place. Their move brought when them certain annoyances and hardships, plans not coming through the way they'd been planned, and various other painful happenstances. Because of that the comic is not on the forefront of his mind, and rightly so. Page 41 has been drawn and is awaiting scanning and the eventual coloring, but it may take us a bit to get back on track. So that I don't have to hold off the explanation any longer than I already have, which in turn was because I didn't really know what was going on due to lack of internet on Dan's end) I hope that everyone remains patient and sticks with us. What we're doing is not something I would dare call a hiatus, but updates may be more sporatic than usual as Dan and family work on getting settled. We apologize and now return you to your regularly scheduled programming. Which, considering the time I write this, for most is probably the show Lost. Made it! - 03/18/2010 7:33 PMHa! It's still Thursday and you have your page! Next page should be on time assuming all computer goodness on Dan's end cooperates. It hasn't been prone to doing that as of late. Enjoy the flashback complete with Sepia-toned goodness! Also, the link on the left that used to say Comic, that went to the same place as the comic preview on the right, has been replaced with a quick link straight to the archive. Makes a lot more sense than having 2 links to the current comic, wouldn't you think? Yeah, me too. A quick recap - 03/15/2010 9:26 PMHere's page 39. Dan has just recently moved so I hope to have page 40 up on Thursday as planned but we'll have to see how much time and ability he has to get it to me. Moving can definitely be a pain and for some strange reason artwork isn't always on the forefront of the mind when those types of things happen. I know, I don't understand it either. |
